Shaving Foam Card

Hi everyone thanks for stopping by.

Over at Brown Sugar we have a new challenge starting today.

Theme: No Designer Paper

On my card this week I used a background die and cut a strip out of my card and placed a piece of lilac card stock behind it and also you can see the die in the below photo.

My pearls are done using the Cosmic Shimmer Coloured pva glue and also the corners of my card.

My background paper is using the shaving foam technique using distress reinkers, this was the first time I have done it and I really enjoyed this technique.

I used a spellbinders die to cut my image and also cut out a lilac piece to mat my image to.  I coloured this using my Spectrum Noir pencils and went round the outside edge with dusty concord distress ink.

My image is from our sponsor

Charity Cards

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.

Here are a few cards I have ready for my local charity shop

I don't know whether its my area but I find handmade cards so hard to sell here, so I decided to donate them to charity.

My mother had bowel cancer about 14 years ago and thankfully it was caught in time and she didn't need any treatment.  We didn't need these lovely nurses, but you never know, and as they are not government funded they need all the donations they can get.  Also my aunt but she wasn't so lucky and palliative care was needed.

These will be dropped into my local shop and hopefully when they put them out they have a higher success rate than myself.

Live every moment

Hello everyone

My blog post today is well out of my comfort zone I think but I must say I enjoyed doing it.

I had an old cardboard box lying in my room so I cut it up and put it away thinking that I would use it, well I pulled it out again and turn it into what I think is not a bad effort.  I watch some videos on a few friends and think if only I could do that.

In my project I used my free stamps from Indigo Blu which I got from a magazine I had bought, some archival black ink, misting inks and some gesso.

I have decided to enter this into the

Indigo Blu Challenge

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my blog, please
leave a comment and it would be lovely if you would click on the follow button.
