Charity Cards

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.

Here are a few cards I have ready for my local charity shop

I don't know whether its my area but I find handmade cards so hard to sell here, so I decided to donate them to charity.

My mother had bowel cancer about 14 years ago and thankfully it was caught in time and she didn't need any treatment.  We didn't need these lovely nurses, but you never know, and as they are not government funded they need all the donations they can get.  Also my aunt but she wasn't so lucky and palliative care was needed.

These will be dropped into my local shop and hopefully when they put them out they have a higher success rate than myself.

Smile and be happy

Hi everyone thanks for stopping by.

Oh its been a while since I have put a post up here but I'm back.  My aim now Im back is to get caught up on my scrapbooking, so you may see a few pages appear as well as cards.  I love watching videos on You tube and I have a few of my own up from a while back but I never had the courage to do actual projects from scratch.  One because I not sure how to edit and two coming to terms with the sound of my own voice, lol.  I would also like to add another page on my blog to be able to sell my handmade items and some craft items as well, to hopefully reimburse my crafty spending and to give a few pounds to a couple of charities that are close to my heart.

A list of items I have used

Card stock from my stash
Blossom dies from Tattered Lace
Card Candy from Craftwork cards
Dovecraft Glitter glue
Stamp set I got free pack from a magazine - from the heart sentiment stamps
flat backed pearls from my stash.
Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue
the image I have used is from Lace Sunshine Stamps

I apologise for not giving exact details on what I have used but I have promised my hubby that I would use some of my stash up before buying any more.  Some of the items I have had for a few years, never used and with my head being the way it is (i.e. like a sieve, lol) I don't remember who, what or where I have purchased them from.  If you look at older post you will see I used this image before but its one of my favourites.

I also have jumped on the band wagon and I am entering this into the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog with the theme of Cute and Girly and also entered it into their DT call.

Once again thank you for dropping by and please feel free to follow my blog and tell your friends to call by and say hello.

#103 - Brown Sugar Challenge - Sand and Sea

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.

Its Friday and its time for another challenge from

By the time this is uploaded to the site I will probably be sitting in a lovely boring airport waiting to fly home from my holidays in tenerife.  The weather was fantastic and with limited wifi access I have eventually got this post wrote.

Our theme for this weeks challenge is

Sea & Sand

In this weeks card I used an image from our sponsors and coloured in with promarkers.  It was cut out with Spellbinders die and mounted onto blue card.  The pattern paper comes from a selection of DCWV papers I got through QVC embellished with some self adhesive stickers and gems, mounted onto kraft card stock.

Thank you for dropping by and for all your lovely comments,

Live every moment

Hello everyone

My blog post today is well out of my comfort zone I think but I must say I enjoyed doing it.

I had an old cardboard box lying in my room so I cut it up and put it away thinking that I would use it, well I pulled it out again and turn it into what I think is not a bad effort.  I watch some videos on a few friends and think if only I could do that.

In my project I used my free stamps from Indigo Blu which I got from a magazine I had bought, some archival black ink, misting inks and some gesso.

I have decided to enter this into the

Indigo Blu Challenge

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my blog, please
leave a comment and it would be lovely if you would click on the follow button.
