Happy April Fools

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Firstly can I apologise for this blog post being late, its been a little hectic in our household this week, packing the husband off for a few days and then one of my fur babies getting herself hurt.  This meant multiple trips to the vets, resulting in surgery on Monday morning.  So here is my card for this week Brown Sugar Challenge.

The card base was 6 x 6 white and layered with patterned paper.  The image was coloured with pencils and cut with a spellbinders lacy die and using a pair of scissors I cut the lace part off.

I handmade the flowers from a spellbinders bloom die and added a little glitter glue to the tips of the petals to make them sparkle.

Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone thanks for stopping by.

Over at Brown Sugar we have a new challenge starting today.

Theme: Buttons

My card is made from a piece of white card stock 15cm x 15cm layered with a piece of purple card and pattern paper.

The poinsettia and foliage is cut out of glitter card, the centre I made out of faux pearls and a little wire.

My digi image is coloured in with Spectrum Noir Pencils and I used a Glitter clear gel pen to glitter up the fur of her hood and the cuffs on her sleeves.  

Down the side of my card I embossed a row of buttons and attached a small button at either end.

Happy Christmas

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.

This card I made and used it to apply for Creative Expressions DT Call last month, I unfortunately didn't get shortlisted this time but there is always next year.

I kept it a red and white theme running through my card and a little crystal glitter glue.

This is a die I got free with a magazine a few weeks ago and it cuts beautifully.

I think I will keep this card and give it to my mum and dad for Christmas, usually I put them in a box and give them to my local favoured charity.
